How volunteering works

Organizations post tasks; you find ones that fit, apply, and help out.

Organizations in Brandevoort post volunteer tasks — things they need a hand with, from helping at an event to ongoing roles. The Impact tab is where you find and manage them.

There are three lists:

• For you — tasks ranked by how well they match your skills and interests.
• Open — all available tasks, by default sorted by which is happening soonest.
• Mine — tasks you've applied for or been assigned.

When you find a task you like, you apply. Depending on the task you're either assigned straight away or your application waits for the organization to approve it. Completed tasks build up your impact — see Your impact and achievements.
