The match score explained
The badge shows how well a task fits your skills and interests.
Every task shows a match badge. It's a quick signal of how well the task fits you, so the For you list can put the best opportunities first.
The score is based on:
- How many of the task's required and preferred skills you have on your profile.
- How the task's category and interests line up with yours.
- How complete your profile is.
A task can ask for skills as Required or Preferred. You don't have to match everything to apply — the badge is guidance, not a gate. Want better matches? Keep your skills and interests up to date.
