How recommendations work
Your interests, location and activity decide what the app surfaces first.
When you sort Discover or open Home by recommendation, the app ranks organizations and events by how well they fit you. It considers:
- The interests you selected on your profile.
- The categories and tags of each organization and event.
- Location relevance.
The more complete and accurate your interests are, the better the recommendations. If you're seeing things that don't fit, update your interests under your profile's Interests tab — recommendations refresh to match.
