In 2022, the working group Brandevoort Oog voor Elkaar was started in Brandevoort.
Now, more than three years later, over 170 residents of Brandevoort participate in the Network Circles β circles in which neighbours support one another.
We have also learned that many elderly people think:
βOh, itβs still fine, I can manage on my own β even if it takes a lot of effort.β
But remember that others can save you that βextra effort.β
Is your ceiling lamp broken? Standing on a shaky kitchen ladder to replace it? Someone else can fix it in no time.
The person who helps feels good about being able to support someone, and the person who would otherwise be trembling on the ladder is happy the task was completed safely.
If, on the day of NLdoet, around 40 residents of Brandevoort attend the information meeting, we as organizers will be satisfied β and undoubtedly many other residents as well.
Perhaps you are now thinking:
βActually, I would like to know a bit more about how this works.β
Well then: you are very welcome on Saturday, March 14, in the context of NLdoet, to come to βt BrandPunt. Members of the working group will be there to explain how the Network Circles operate.
You can drop in freely between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM in room De Marke.
De Marke is located on the first floor (lift available) of βt BrandPunt, where a nice cup of coffee or tea will be waiting for you.
Warm regards,
